PDX ( Portland International Airport ) will be your best bet!

50 min from Hood River and 1 hr 10 min drive from The Dalles.

Transportation

PDX has a very easy rental car system

We encourage renting, bringing, or carpooling a car, as there are no Uber's or ride shares in The Dalles.

There will be plenty of onsight parking available for those who choose to drive.

If you are interested, a shuttle service will be picking up and dropping off at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in The Dalles. Please note on your RSVP that you would like to opt into the shuttle service only if you are staying at a hotel in The Dalles.

The wedding will be located in The Dalles, OR.

However, The Gorge is filled with some beautiful hotels, cabins, airbnbs and resorts.

A short 20 minutes away and just off the interstate is Hood River. We have included our favorite places for your choosing.

Our Perfect Day

Sam’s Ideal Day:
Wake up and head to Hood River for a Freshies bagel and a coffee from Stoked Coffee. Take a relaxing walk along the waterfront, then visit The Gorge White House for wine tasting and fresh fruit. Spend the afternoon exploring downtown Hood River, and wander through local shops. End the day back at the Stanley home, soaking in the beautiful surroundings.

Luke’s Ideal Day:
Kick off the morning by grabbing a Holsteins breakfast sandwich in The Dalles, then take a scenic drive out to Draper Girls Farm in Parkdale. Spend some time picking fresh fruit and enjoying their hard-pressed cider before heading back into town. Wrap up the day with an early dinner at Ferment Brewing
